TERMS OF EXHIBITION & EXPOSURE LIABILITY
The following document constitutes the binding terms under which any user, viewer, owner, or proximate witness of LE PRÉSIDENT (hereinafter, "the Document") engages with its content. By scrolling past this paragraph you acknowledge receipt; by continuing past the next, your assent.
The Bureau provides this disclaimer for purposes of cultural transparency and legal restraint. It is, in spirit and in letter, sincere. It is also — and this is non-negotiable — a piece of work in itself.
The Document may produce in the listener feelings of unease, recognition, regret, embarrassment, fatigue, or — most awkwardly — laughter. The Bureau holds no liability for any such reaction, irrespective of duration, severity, or witnesses.
The Document is a work of satire, archive, and acoustic intervention. Resemblance to historical figures is intentional and constitutes commentary protected under the customary norms of cultural critique.
Audio output is generated from a curated archive of synthesised utterances. No transcript reproduced herein constitutes endorsement, attribution, or factual report. Where context invites confusion, confusion is the work.
The Bureau accepts no responsibility for marriages strained, dinner parties shortened, or guests departed early as a consequence of the Document's operation. Such outcomes are foreseeable and, in some cases, intended.
All audio is reproduced at fixed analogue gain. Volume is set by physical means at the rear of the unit. Ear protection is unfashionable, but encouraged.
The Document shall be exhibited in its entirety. No part may be muted, redacted, sweetened, censored, or rebranded for occasion or audience. The point is the whole.
The Document must remain in plain sight of all visitors during operating hours of the host space. It is not a curiosity for the back room. It is the room.
Reproduction of the Document, by 3D printing, casting, or any subsequent technology of which the Bureau remains pleasantly ignorant, is prohibited. Forgeries will be catalogued, mocked, and ultimately tolerated.
Quiet hours, if engaged, are at the discretion of the host but should reflect the customary politeness of the surrounding household. The Bureau recommends 22:00 — 08:00 local time. The Document agrees, reluctantly.
Custody of a unit may be transferred only with the Bureau's written approval. Subsequent owners inherit these conditions in full and unaltered, in perpetuity, without ceremony.
Continued possession, exhibition, audition, or scrolling of any unit or page bearing the mark of the Bureau constitutes binding consent to all preceding articles. Disagreement is logged and disregarded.
