I. CLASSIFICATION

The archive is organised along three deliberately uncomfortable axes — vanity, sexism, ignorance — chosen for their clarity rather than their comfort. Each transcription is logged with reference code, date of utterance, and a single line of editorial context.
Sub-categorisation is permitted, encouraged, and ultimately impossible. The categories overlap. So, frankly, do most of the utterances.
II. VANITY
On the subject of
oneself.
"I have, frankly, the most beautiful hands in the history of the office. People talk about it constantly. The hands."
Self-attestation. Unprompted. Repeated three times within the same address.
"Nobody's ever seen ratings like the ratings I get. Nobody. The most tremendous ratings in the history of ratings."
Asserted in response to a question concerning the economy.
"I'm a very stable genius. Very stable. People say it. Very, very, very stable. The stablest, frankly."
Volunteered. The interviewer had asked nothing.
"The crowd was the largest crowd. By far. Millions. They couldn't fit them all. They were outside, frankly, in the millions."
Concerning an event attended by approximately seven hundred people.
"I make the best deals. The best. Nobody's even close. Frankly, nobody is in the same county."
A passing remark, allowed to stand uncontested.
III. SEXISM
On half the
population.
"She, frankly, was never going to be able to handle it. It's a tough job. A man's job. It always has been."
In reference to a sitting cabinet member, post-dismissal.
"I told her she'd be much prettier if she smiled. People appreciated that. They thanked me, frankly, for saying it."
A correspondent. The room did not, in fact, thank him.
"Some women, you know, they just don't have the temperament. It's not their fault. It's biology, frankly."
Asserted on no biological evidence whatsoever.
"A great wife should be supportive. Quiet. Tremendous, but quiet. The most tremendous and quiet wife, frankly."
Volunteered during a press availability on infrastructure.
IV. IGNORANCE
On things one
has not understood.
"Nobody knew tariffs were so complicated. Nobody. Believe me. Nobody had any idea, frankly."
Three centuries of economists disagree.
"I have a very good relationship with the climate. The climate respects me. We've discussed it, frankly."
Pressed on emissions targets. Did not return to the question.
"Frankly, viruses get tired. Very tired. Then they go away. They've always gone away. They will go away again."
Delivered seventy-two hours before a national emergency declaration.
"Books are wonderful. The big ones especially. I've read all of them. The big ones. Tremendous books, frankly."
Asked which.
"The wall is going to be tremendous. Solar panels, maybe glass, transparent so you can see the people, frankly, on the other side."
